About WildArt

WildArt

Wildart Photography was founded in 2004, by photographer and entrepreneur Shel Neufeld. Since then, we have developed a loyal customer base across most of Canada, grown through our numerous retail locations and our on the floor participation in over 200 wholesale and retail trade shows and markets.

At the core of Wildart Photography is our commitment to Connection. Our overall mission is to provide art that inspires customers to connect with the natural world while building connection with each other. Wildart Photography greeting style cards share the deeply personal nature of our products, with a hand written story about the image on the card front by photographer Shel Neufeld.

Our cards are printed Carbon Neutral, produced using the most environmentally and ecologically sound paper sources available, and are printed less than 100km from our head office.

“I’ve been working with Shel for a couple of years now. At first, I was hesitant about his cards due to space constraints, but then he fashioned a beautiful rack that fits in just perfectly! And, well, his artwork speaks for itself, fan favourite with our customers. I would recommend a retail partnership with him to anyone, he’s a delight to work with.”

“Shel Neufeld is an exceptional artist who captures the essence of every image he shoots. At IGA we sell a tremendous amount of his cards for both locals and tourists alike. Shel maintains his rack and is completely professional to deal with. I would highly recommend Shel as someone to do business with!”

Shel Neufeld

I have been professionally photographing natural wonder across Canada since 1998. I take time to explore the beauty of the landscape. Since that time I have witnessed the transformative aspects of nature happening in others and within myself. From stress to calm, from broken to healed, from fatigued to inspired, I’ve experienced how the natural landscape can play a huge part in these changes. I feel incredibly blessed to play a role in this through my deep and up close camera interpretations. It is so wonderful to hear how a particular card, or one of my written reflections, impacted a customer in a positive way. I am grateful to live and work on the unceded territory of the The Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and the shíshálh Nation

“Neufeld invites us to see the minutiae in the heavens and the magnificence in a leaf, to ponder the (in)significance of humankind. Each shot asks “what is our place in this? The resulting photos are…arresting.”
